Academic Writing Lab
A series of workshops designed to offer maximum support as students research and write final papers for their CYA courses. The workshops cover all aspects of academic essay writing and focus on areas which commonly cause students difficulty including writing research papers, article review, even note-taking techniques. (Free of charge)
CYA’s Executive Director of Student Affairs, Nadia Meliniotis has over 25 years of experience helping students with their personal growth, development and finding their own path to fulfillment while they are in Athens. She is interested in and wants to learn each individual’s unique needs, concerns, hobbies, and special interests and tries to find ways to accommodate them. Her duties include:
Counseling services are readily available to students. We have a licensed psychologist available at the Academic Centre for private counseling once a month throughout the semester at specified days and times. The initial session held on CYA premises is free of charge to the student.
